Basement of the Moscow State University building - some people suppose it’s the place from where one can enter the secret “Metro 2″, others believe it to be a perfect place for a test rats farm…
Of course for ordinary curious students access to the basement is denied. But if you know where to go, what doors to break, what cam to smile at and where to hide from the security with hungry dogs, you may confidently start out.
And you certainly won’t be the first here …
The best ones may be found on this wall of fame.
You’ll be accomponied by different sounds: fans rumble, noise of dripping water and your own puffing…
You may find a collection of minerals in this room.
But here is nothing remained. Here could be a swimming pool if pumps did’t work …
Not all the taps are closed well and pipes are leaky…
Those who hate boring life believe that here might be a tunnel of the second Moscow metro.
Another legend - crysystems that are temporarily freezing the soil under the building. If someone turns them on, the building may fall in the Moskva river and a rising wave will wash off the monument to Peter the Great by Tsereteli.
And this is a secret cipher machine “Enigma”.
There is also information that long ago here was a headquarters of civil defence. And they left these piles of gas masks, dosimeters and other old stuff…
Here were storage rooms of laboratories.
In 1990s the rooms were flooded and here settled dampness, insanitariness and corrosion, chemicals dissolved in the water…
This equipment will never work again.
Laboratories where Russian engineers and physicists were creating the world science now attract only cockroaches…
… and hunters for nonferrous metal.
